Starting Over - New Blog

I'm planning to start posting on this platform starting Thursday, August 1. I'm hopeful that this new chapter will be free of the troubles I experienced with my previous blog, From My House.

After struggling with the WordPress blog for two weeks, I've come to the decision to let it go. It was beyond my abilities, and the stress it caused was not worth it.

  1. Awesome, nice to see a post for a change. It has been relatively hard to follow you. I also hope this new chapter is less stressful for you.

    God bless.

    1. Yeah it’s been a crazy few weeks. I feel I wasted a lot of time working on WordPress and it went no where!
Oh well. I do hope I don’t have the problems I did with my other Blogger blog.

  3. Love these flowers that I can't spell. Hopefully this new blog will work out for you. My older son Steve has been serving as a camp photographer at a church camp located right outside of Viola. The camp came under evac. warnings on Thursday with ash falling like snow. Friday they had to evacuate..all 600 jr. high and high school kids. Many were in great stress because they had gone through the wildfires in Paradise area.
Everyone got out safely. It was a logistic nightmare but God gave them what they needed to get out. Don't know if the camp survived yet. The Fire Chief kept them informed and they were doing everything to save the property.
    so scary.

    1. I bet that was a nightmare. Friday was a horrible day and night. I know Viola well. My folks used to live in Shingletown. My sources said the fire as of last night was 12.5 miles from Viola and Shingletown 7.5 miles. The south side of 44 has had level 3 warnings _ Go. The north side is level 2.
Thankfully, we are 21 miles from the actual fire.

    2. Thanks for the info about the fire closeness. Even 21 miles is close the way the fire winds are blowing. (((hugs))) and stay safe.

    3. On your latest post I sent you info on Paradise and Magalia. Stirling City is still under a warning not an order.
      God bless!

    4. Thanks I saw that and am grateful. I can tell the winds have changed today. Our skies are pretty blue, not like the last few days. Hope the winds don't make the fires involve more structures..Makes me so sad. So far all relatives are safe and their homes too.
