We were just listening to a report from Israel and talking about the increase in anti-semitism. It's sad and awful.

ReplyDeleteLet's really hope it never happens again. My 17 year old granddaughter went to Germany last year on a school trip and saw a museum of shoes. She said it was so sad seeing them all from holocaust victims. So very sad. Janice

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely...Never Again ! Way back in 2001 we were in Israel . We visited Yad Vashem and the whole place is so etched in my mind. The sadness, the photos the naming of the dear children. Its a sobering yet strangely beautiful memorial. Many Israeli soldiers were visiting the day we were there and putting little remembrance stones on various grave sites. One that I remember was Schindler's. I will have to get down my photo scrapbook and maybe scan some of photos to do a post on the trip.
