It’s Friday not Saturday

It’s beginning to resemble fall... at least at this ranch that’s within walking distance. We had overcast weather yesterday and today. The air has a pleasant scent, and the past couple of days have been quite mild. However, we’re expected to warm up again next week.

It's that back-and-forth time again.

I’m confused. I can’t shake the feeling that it’s Saturday. Somewhere along the way this week, I seem to have misplaced a day! 😮

☝ This image could really use a patch of pumpkins. In fact, there is a pumpkin patch and corn maze just down the road that are already prepared for Fall and fun.

We're heading out for a couple of nights of glamping in the redwoods. 🌲🌲🌲

This is an interesting video.  👆

I’m scheduled for the implant loop recorder procedure on Tuesday at 11 am.  Oh Fun!  I expect it to go smoothly.

I fully plan to be at BSF on Wednesday.  I can tell already, next week will go by super fast.

Last night there was a prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk at the county college.

Many young people and families.

Twenty students came forward to accept Christ.

Yesterday, when my husband was at the college, he shared that five students asked him to pray for them, and a few students inquired if he had any spare Bibles to distribute. Hmm, a chance for ministry.

So, something incredible
is unfolding!

That's my update for Friday. I'm looking forward to getting Tuesday behind me, and I need to finish my study prep early so I'm done before Tuesday.

Our little Fall glamping weekend was actually planned before the procedure, and I would have had to wait longer, so I grabbed the appointment.

Savor the weekend of fall – or more accurately, the final weekend of summer. We've finally arrived at fall.  Even if summer isn't fully willing to concede just yet.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Debby

  6. I am having a hard time with Charlie's death - such a nice young man trying to help the kids of today.

  7. Hi, Debby! As Danny has to have another heart ablation this coming Thursday, I can't watch the video you shared here. TMI for me. There are beautiful tributes to Charlie all over this nation and I'm looking forward to viewing his memorial service on Fox News this Sunday at 2:00 EST. His legacy for the Lord can never be underestimated. His life will live on in all those he inspired. Blessings!

  9. Praying for a wonderful outcome for your procedure, Debby, and that you have a marvelous time glamping. Yes, there is more than fall in the air in the aftermath of Charlie's death, and it is the sense that hearts are changing and souls are being saved. Blessings!

  10. My favorite time of the year! What a beautiful picture of that ranch.

  11. Am at a loss with Charlie's death. There have been vigils in our county too. Am so glad folks are reaching out to God again. We need to erase the evil. There have been thousands of new Turning Point chapters forms and so glad of it. Good luck with your loop recorder. It was a fast procedure with my husband though. Janice

  12. It's looking Fallish here too. The temps have been in the 80's but as of today they are trending down. Loved seeing the memorial service and what is happening to our young people now. Charlie would have loved it,

  13. That is wonderful about the 20 students...I strongly believe there is a movement going on and I have to be careful what I say....so I will leave it at that. Have a beautiful day and keeping in prayer.

  14. That was a nice prayer vigil at the college. And even more so that 20 students want to get to know Jesus. Your photos are pretty, and it looks like such a dry area, but it reminds me of the harvest season. Yes, some pumpkins would do nicely there. Lots of room for sure. I haven't heard of the pumpkin patch and corn maze in your area. There will be a craft fair in town at the end of the month. Sounds like something I would like to go to. Don't worry, you're not the only one who gets their days mixed up. It feels like a Sunday today to me. ; )

  15. I started to watch the video of your upcoming procedure but changed my mind. I am praying it goes very well for you and your recovery is easy. Do take time to rest if/when your body asks for it.

It's really good to see how hearts are being touched for the Lord with Charlie Kirk's passing. This must be the revival we've been praying about for so long.

  16. I've been confused by the days, too. On Thursday morning I went to get fasting blood work done and forgot to take my medicine, so my daily pill container is all out of whack.

  17. That feeling of losing a day is so relatable, especially when you're busy! It sounds like you have a wonderful weekend ahead with glamping in the redwoods. That must be such a beautiful way to spend a few days. The picture of the ranch is so peaceful, and I totally agree, a patch of pumpkins would be the perfect addition!

I'm sending you all my best wishes for a smooth procedure on Tuesday. It's so inspiring to hear about all the wonderful things happening with the students and the ministry. What an incredible thing to witness.
