About Me

I’m a bit shy when faced with the daunting task of crafting an “About Me” page. Should I adopt a detached, third-person narrative to carefully shape how others perceive me, or risk coming across as self-absorbed by penning a boastful autobiography?

So, I have managed to settle on the following self-portrait…

I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I stand with Israel, and I love the Jewish people.

I am a private individual who tends to listen more than speak. Writing is the best way I communicate. I find contentment and happiness in the simple things in life.

I find solace in the tranquility of nature, and I’m proud to call California my home. I have been happily married to my second husband for 22 years. My family is my greatest joy, as I have 3 sons and 2 stepdaughters who are now adults. I have no grandchildren, and I want to be clear that I don’t want anyone’s pity. I’m okay with it. I keep busy and trust God for the rest. I’m genuinely happy for those who do have grandchildren.

I am blessed to have 3 nieces and one nephew.

I have 7 grand nieces and 3 grand nephews.

I have 6 great grand nieces and 4 great grand nephews.

Over the course of many years, I have accumulated through trial and error, a wealth of understanding and insight through financial hardship, grief, marital separation, divorce, and the profound anguish of losing a loved one to suicide.

These experiences have equipped me to listen to those facing challenges. It has taken me many years to comprehend the profound influence of these experiences and how they can empower me to help others in their own battles.
