It's Getting There...

Happy Friday.

I just woke up from a little power nap because I knew I’d be feeling sleepy at the conference tonight. Now that I’m feeling refreshed, I wanted to update you all on our progress in the front.

This was yesterday - 👆

This was just from this morning. It looks like we need a truckload of river rock.

We’ve got these upside-down clay pots that mark our sprinkler heads, which helps us set up drip lines for our potted plants. Since we don’t have summer rains, these drip lines are important! Once we get the weed barrier, rocks, and stepping stones in place, we’ll lay the bricks on their side to edge the area.

Everything is coming together. It looks like we’re on pause until we get some rocks, so we're shifting our focus back to painting for next week. We'll start back in on Monday.

This morning, I picked up some already-cooked garlic pepper chicken drumsticks at Costco, right by the rotisserie chicken section. They're perfect for a quick and easy dinner before we head out tonight! I also picked up a red potato salad from the deli. I can’t wait to enjoy this meal! The aroma in the car on the way home was so tempting that I wanted to tear into the package to grab one.

I’ve set up a post for tomorrow featuring some photos of the Lost Coast!

💖💖💖

I hope you all enjoyed this Friday and were able to fill your pockets with love.  Thanks Shug!

PS- This just in. Husband took photos of our first lily pond flower of the year!

  5. We have a lot of rock in our back yard. Your doing a nice job. We always enjoy things from Costco but haven't tried those drumsticks yet. We saw James on Friday night so I was filled with joy. Enjoy your weekend.
