🍄I love mushrooms. 🍄
A charming birdbath sits in a whimsical fairy garden, where delicate wings flutter and nature's magic dances.

"On the subject of wild mushrooms, it is easy to tell who is an expert and who is not: The expert is the one who is still alive."

So right God can definitely grow a mushroom overnight, but He takes his time with oak trees and us.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Amen!
DeleteFungi are amazing and so many different types.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They truly are and they're lovely to look at
DeleteI like mushrooms too. I enjoyed your photos and quotes.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mari
DeleteOh Debby, mushrooms have always kind of freaked me out honestly haha. They are the strangest looking things, and some can be very poisonous. But I do love mushrooms on my burgers, pizza, and other foods. The quotes you shared were good ones, but the one that got to me was the last one. : )
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving week to you, Debby.
~Sheri
That's interesting, Sheri. Well I don't know about mushrooms to go out foraging for them - I'll stick to the grocery store. They are good though. I like to put onions and mushrooms on a good steak.
DeleteWhat an interesting study of mushrooms. I love to look at their different designs and colors, but I would never venture to try and decide which one was safe and which one wasn't. I'll buy my mushrooms for eating in the grocery store! LOL. Thank you for your kind comments on my blog post today. I'm still hurting from the loss of our Sunshine. I really didn't see that coming, and it has hit me rather hard, but he gave us a lot of joy in the time we had him here with us. Blackie is missing him, as am I. But I am thankful we had him while we did.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving.
Your mushroom photos are so artistic!! Especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Coming from you, with your artistic eye means a lot.
DeleteEnjoyed reading your quotes. Janice
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteMy father was a botanist and I can remember to this day hearing that we should never touch mushrooms in the wild. How right he was! Your photos and quotes are wonderful, Debby. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWow then you must know all about mushrooms! I don't touch them, I just take pictures of them! Thanks for reading, Martha
DeleteMushrooms are interesting - we used to get them in our yard - but for some reason no more.

ReplyDeleteKnow your shrooms!
DeleteWe do like mushrooms, and we just found out about a family mushroom farm nearby. We plan to get some for cooking etc. They have lion's mane and other mushrooms. Love the photos.
