Love Birds
Love is in the air, and we're all eagerly watching for the eggs. Liberty looks quite full, so we believe it could happen any day now.
Unfortunately, my husband is very sick this Valentine's Day. It seems like he caught the black plague from the ER. I’ve managed to avoid it so far, but I’ve been feeling a bit strange in the last hour. It might just be fatigue from waiting on him and handling everything. Hopefully, tomorrow morning will provide a clearer picture.
I picked up Murphy's Take and Bake pizza today because he wasn't feeling well, and I didn't want his germs on it if he was making one.
His homemade pizza is so much tastier.
I bought these chocolate roses to give to my ladies on Wednesday -
only three are left!
The following day, it snowed!
This is what we got! 10 miles away (9.3 miles). 😊
Today, the only snow left is on the mountains around us.
It was a beautiful sunny day - 58 degrees.
I saw this on my One Drive - February 14, 2010.
We were on the Oregon Coast.
It was a beautiful day - a bit misty from the salty ocean waves -
2010 -
We decided on the garage door, so more on that later.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Debby

Debby, so sorry your husband caught a nasty bug. I hope you don't come down with anything. Love that Valentine pic of 2010. Those Belgian chocolate roses look delightful. So, Whiskeytown got some snow! We had another snowfall, and it was as big as the last one! Was out there shoveling yesterday. And Papa Murphy's Take and Bake! Oh, how I miss that pizza. It was always so delicious. Happy Valentine's Day Debby!

Yeah he’s coughing and sounds awful. He’s been sleeping a lot.
DeleteSo far so good for me.
Pizza and Valentines Day for us, go hand in hand. Our anniversary is Sunday. I’m thinking we might not be able to go out - we are planning to celebrate our anniversary with my sons anniversary on the 28th.
Happy Hearts to you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just cooked a pizza today! It is Tillamook brand at the grocery store, and quite GOOD. I've never had it before, but Tillamook cheeses are always good, so I gave it a try. ; )
DeleteI didn’t know Tillamook made pizza. Yes their cheeses are good. They’re from Oregon.
DeleteI adore your birds with the waves photo!!! Oh NO, sick on Valentine's Day!! I was so afraid of this after your horrifying description of the E.R.!! Hopefully it will run it's course in just a day or so, keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the sea gulls are playing with those gigantic waves! He’s still coughing this morning and weak.
DeleteI LOVE the heart pizza. Sorry to read that your hubby is sick. Feel better wishes to him.
ReplyDeleteI’m spoiled. My husband’s homemade pizza is so much better and demanding the poor man make pizza when he’s sick, sounded cruel. 😉 When all is said and done, it’s just a day/evening. No biggie. Just want him to get well. I hate to see someone this ill. He’s usually so healthy.
DeleteI am so sorry your hubby is not feeling well. I hope he is recovering quickly. That heart shaped pizza looks yummy! We had pizza from Domino's the other night, and it was a DUD. I think they forgot to put cheese on it! There was barely a skim of cheese on the crust, and it was terrible! I should've called them, but I didn't feel like hassling them. I will be buying other pizza from now on. The snow is beautiful, and I love those pictures of the two of you and the waterfall, etc. wow, 2010? That's a LONG time ago already, but it doesn't seem possible, does it? 15 years goes by so fast nowadays!! Hope you don't catch the crud. Praying for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI hadn’t seen these photos in years - then they popped up on my computer.
DeleteI’ve been exposed twice. - once in the ER and now through my husband. I’m trying not to be negative - just a realistic. I’ve got a little chest congestion going on but other than that, so far so good.
I'm so sorry your hubby is so sick and I sure hope you stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate roses are a great idea.
Love the photos of the ocean.
I love spoiling my ladies at BSF.
DeleteYep, he really got hit hard. He’s never sick. He’s had a rough 8-9 days. From kidney infection to whatever this is.
precious valentine couple awaiting the drop of the eggs. Happy Belated Valentine and so sorry hubby is I'll and praying you will not catch it..
ReplyDeleteThe odds are against me but I’m still trying to fight it. I’m listening to my body.
DeleteUgh, yes indeed, there is a nasty bug going around. I hope your hubby will be feeling better. Have a beautiful day. smiles.
ReplyDeleteSitting in a crowded ER with sick people - he was a sitting duck. 🐤
DeleteHope hubby is feeling better. Our pizza place did those heart shaped pizzas too. A great idea. Great pics of the Oregon Coast. Looking forward to seeing the baby eaglets hatch. Keep us posted. Janice
ReplyDeleteI feel like pacing the floor as we wait for the eggs! Any day now!
DeleteWow, that Whiskeytown sign in the snow is mesmerizing (me).
ReplyDeleteHow I hope your hubby's well on his way to recovery this morning!? That heart pizza is so neat; I've never seen anything like that. Every once in a while Tom will pick up an ordinary grocery pizza, then load it with fresh and savory toppings we most like.
A lot of snow and then the next day, it’s melted. Another big storm might be heading our way in a week or so.
DeleteOh Debby...I am so sorry that your husband is feeling ill. Bless his heart, he has had a couple of bad weeks and I know he is eager to feel good again. You as well, Bless your heart, as I know how hard it is to be a care taker. Prayers of healing for him and prayers of protection for you. The pictures are all lovely and I know your views of the mountains with the snow or gorgeous. I love how when snow is on the mountains, you can see views that you never notice with the white fluffy stuff falling against everything. Hope you have such a Blessed Day and can feel energized.
ReplyDeleteYeah he’s been hit hard. He helps me a lot - more than I give him credit for.
DeleteI love the pictures of hubby and you, Debby! Sorry he isn't feeling well and hope he gets better soon. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too. I hate seeing him look as bad as he does. He’s usually very healthy.
DeleteOh my, the Crud is awful..I hope your dear hubby recovers quickly and you can fight it off yourself. I know Dave and I felt terrible for over 3 weeks..prayers for both of you.
ReplyDeleteLove the chocolate roses. That was a wonderful idea for your ladies.
(((hugs)))
Sue
I've got my dukes up - fighting the crud!
DeleteSending GET WELL HUGS!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of you and your husband. xx oo
I enjoyed all the other photos too.
Carla
Thanks Carla.
DeleteChocolate roses and heart shaped pizza, just perfect. I do hope your husband is feeling better today, and you are still healthy.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I'm sure he is getting better each day. He is coughing a lot, though, and that usually lasts for a couple of weeks.
DeleteHope your husband is back to normal soon and that you don't get what he has!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that heart shaped pizza!
How nice of you to give out the chocolate roses!
It was a cute pizza - The Ladies loved the chocolate roses.
DeleteLove the picture of the eagles! I think the little bird below them is being very quiet!
ReplyDeleteI’d be quiet too.
DeleteSounds like you had a nice Valentine's, I have had Belgian chocolates but wasn't that keen on them although that was a bloody long time ago, might give them another try.
ReplyDeleteMy preference is dark chocolate
DeleteI hope he is feeling better now and that you are also feeling okay. Take care.
ReplyDeleteFeeling better every day
DeleteI'm new here - first time - but I saw you on all my friends blogs! I thought I would check you out. I am sorry you were sick on Valentine's Day - but I do wish you a happy anniversary.
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen you too! 😊
DeleteI appreciate stopping by and check me out. Yeah we were both sickies - nothing major but just enough to make us feel our age. We enjoyed our anniversary in spite of our sniffles. God bless
